Stuart started Aikido in 1993 when he joined UK Shinwakai Aikido. Stuart is a 3rd Dan in Yoshinkan Aikido. He is the Senior Weapons Instructor for UK Shinwakai Aikido. Stuart studied Batto Ho under Sensei Tony Cassells and he has practiced Aikido and other Martial Arts with various Sensei’s throughout the UK. Stuart currently runs the weapons class on a Sunday evening at UK Shinwakai Aikido, Beaconsfield Dojo. On a regular basis SStuart also teaches at UK Shinwakai Aikido, Maidenhead Dojo

UK Shinwakai (UKS) is a member of the British Aikido Board (the Governing Body for Aikido in the U.K: Recognised by Sport England as the only UK Aikido Governing Body). UKS is also affiliated to Aikido Yoshinkan.
